SERVICE BOUNDARIES
What our service does — and does not — provide.
Clear boundaries protect clients, families and our team.
Our service
Helping Hands Senior Support provides non-medical practical assistance and companionship, including agreed everyday tasks such as companionship, shopping, errands, appointment companionship, light household help and technology support.
We do not provide
- Nursing or clinical treatment
- Diagnosis or medical advice
- Wound care or clinical procedures
- Clinical medication administration or management
- Regulated personal care such as bathing, toileting or dressing

If needs change
If a requested task falls outside our agreed service or appears unsafe, we may decline it and discuss appropriate next steps with the client or authorised contact.
Emergencies
Helping Hands Senior Support is not an emergency service. Where there is immediate danger or urgent medical need, the appropriate emergency service should be contacted.
